The day has finally come that we are talking about possibly the most important part of Walt Disney World…the bathrooms! Everyone uses them and it’s important to know which are the best, which are the worst and we even got to talking about what we would do if we were in charge of the loos, latrines and powder rooms at The Most Magical Place on Earth! So without further ado, let’s talk toilets!

Best Bathrooms

Jessica

My first three best bathrooms are in the best category strictly because of the theming! They aren’t necessarily the best when it comes to being less busy or crowded but the theming makes them so fun!

The Tangled Bathrooms in Magic Kingdom

This whole area is such a beautiful space with a courtyard, lanterns, the wanted posters and tower. It really feels like the village of Corona from the film and we were really excited when this was built. So for the theming alone, this is a bathroom that I love!

Toy Story Bathrooms in Hollywood Studios

We haven’t used these a ton but these are highly themed, very colorful and super cute! But because they are in such a high traffic area they are very busy and so we don’t visit them often.

The Galaxy’s Edge Bathrooms in Hollywood Studios

These are some of the most themed out of all of the restrooms in the parks! They are fully immersive just like the rest of Galaxy’s Edge but the thing that puts them over the top is the sounds! You hear so many other-worldy, space type sounds and music playing through the speakers in this restroom, it’s really cool.

The rest of my best bathrooms aren’t as themed as the ones above but these are in my opinion, the best bathrooms when it comes to crowd levels and cleanliness so they are truly some of the BEST bathrooms on property!

Rafiki’s Planet Watch

Not a lot of people trek back to this part of Animal Kingdom so it’s not very busy compared to the rest of the park so the restrooms are never super busy if you happen to find yourself back here but they are themed and have fun facts and funny stories about animal waste written on the walls. It’s actually quite funny and cute.

The Oddessy Center (near baby care) in Epcot

These bathrooms are never super busy, there are some benches outside to sit and they’re kind of out of the way from the general flow of traffic at Epcot. The baby care center being right there as well is also a nice perk if you need to change or feed your little one.

The UK Pavilion in Epcot

These bathrooms are behind the fountain in the UK pavilion, by the phone booths. And while the bathrooms themselves aren’t particularly memorable the area that they are in is so pretty and it just feels nice to go over in that area.

American Adventure in Epcot

If you’re looking at the American Adventure pavilion, there are restrooms to the right and they are huge! There is never a line because there are so many stalls! It’s a really good one to use while you’re in the World Showcase.

Near Journey to the Imagination - to the right and around the corner

This bathroom is near the Journey to the Imagination ride but kind of around and to the right. It’s been a while since I’ve used this bathroom but it’s supposedly still a bit of “untouched Epcot” in the sense that it looks like classic 1980’s Epcot still in this restroom AND even has the old school Epcot music playing through their speakers! We’re going to verify this on our next trip but I hope it’s true! Either way, these bathrooms are always very quiet and never really busy!

Tyler

Fort Wilderness Bathrooms by Hoop De Doo Review

If you’re visiting this area during they day, these restrooms are NEVER busy! But if you do happen to need to use one after a performance of Hoop De Doo Review they are swamped.

Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Similar to Jessica’s mention of the Galaxy’s Edge restrooms above, the ones in Pandora are so highly themed and really immersive. You don’t ever feel like you’re out of Pandora with these ones.

Germany Pavilion in Epcot

These bathrooms are always there exactly when I need them. Because not every pavilion has a bathroom, we seem to find that when we’re walking around World Showcase and we pass Germany I always need the restroom.

Galaxy’s Edge Bathrooms in Hollywood Studios

Just like Jess mentioned above, these are highly themed and the sounds they pipe in are just so cool!

Second Floor Lobby Bathroom in Grand Floridian

This bathroom is close to Citricos and Enchanted Rose and it’s my top pick for a few reasons. One, it’s never busy. Two, it’s always super clean. Three, the stall doors go all the way to the floor. Four, they have really nice hand towels. I would venture to say that besides the bathroom in your own hotel room, this is the best bathroom on property.

Worst Bathrooms

Jessica

Tangled Bathrooms In Magic Kingdom

This bathroom is a weird one because as you saw above, it’s on my best list because of the theming BUT it’s actually one of the worst ones in my opinion to use because of how busy they are, how dirty they end up being based on the traffic going through them etc. So they’re cool to use once but I would find other bathrooms to use if you want a quieter, less chaotic experience.

Toy Story Bathrooms in Hollywood Studios

Everything that I just said about the Tangled bathrooms also can be applied to these bathrooms!

Star Traders Bathrooms in Tomorrowland

This bathroom is in such a high traffic area but there are not nearly enough stalls, it’s always busy, the floor is always wet and there is always a line! If I never used that bathroom again, I would be fine with that.

Tyler

Any bathroom that serves two places

In Hollywood Studios ABC Commissary and Sci Fi Diner share a bathroom and inevitably I walk out of the bathroom and I always walk the wrong way! Similarly in Disney Springs The Edison and Maria and Enzo’s Hideaway also share a bathroom. I just don’t care for them.

Adventureland and Frontierland breezeway bathrooms

This is the restroom we use the most but it is my least favorite. They are always busy, the floor is always wet and it’s really not very well themed. But with that being said, we do often use this one and one good thing it has going for it is that the surrounding area is under cover which is handy when we’re trading off kids for bathroom breaks etc.

Our Most Used

Jessica

  • The Germany Pavilion

  • The Bathrooms Between Tomorrowland and the Plaza Restaurant

Tyler

  • Animal Kingdom by Creature Comforts (by the baby care center)

  • Germany Pavilion

  • Adventureland Breezeway

Most Unused/Unknown

Jessica

Outside the Epcot Entrance

When you exit Epcot there are restrooms on both the right AND the left! Most people head to the ones on the right because it’s on the way to the bus loop and transporation pick up spots but the ones on the right are supposedly quieter and less busy.

In The Back of Tomorrowland

Back in Tomorrowland, past the stage kind of near the Joffrey’s kiosk and Space Mountain entrance there are bathrooms that are hardly ever busy! So if you’re in Tomorrowland and you see the line at the Star Traders bathrooms I mentioned above, skip that and keep walking a little further to these ones instead!

Blue Sky Session - What are our ideas?

So we decided to brainstorm a little and have a blue sky session, which means what kind of ideas could we come up with if the sky is limit! What kind of bathrooms would we come up with, what themes, what names etc. Once we sat down to discuss we realized that Jessica took a bit more of a detailed approach while Tyler came up with a list of incredible ideas but he’s happy to leave the details to the Imagineers! (Disney, if you’re listening…please take our ideas!)

Jessica

Peter Pan Bathroom

This one would obviously be near Peter Pan’s Flight and every two minutes the lights would dim just slightly and you’d see Tink fly around the ceiling with the “dun dun duhhh” music before hearing Peter call her away and the lights would come back on.

The Princesses Bathroom

This one could be anywhere in Fantasyland but each stall would be a different color for its corresponding princess and maybe on the inside of the stall there’s a painting of the princess.

A Futuristic Bathroom

This one would be in Tomorrowland and it has a conveyer belt you stand on when you get in line and when a stall is free a green light comes on and you’re moved automatically to the open stall. Then of course when you’re done you’d be moved along to the sink for hand washing before being taken out of the bathroom at the exit.

A Castle Bathroom

In Disneyland Paris there is a dragon sleeping under the castle and it’s so cool. So if Walt Disney World has this, or they could just put this bathroom in Disneyland Paris, there should be a bathroom where you can hear the dragon breathing and moving while you’re in the bathroom.

A Haunted Mansion Bathroom

This would obviously be near the Haunted Mansion attraction. There would be ghosts moaning over the speaker and there would be one stall that’s always“out of order” with a toilet that is gurgling like a cauldron. Then the mirrors would have the Ghost Host appear from time to time and you never know which sink he will show up above next.

Tyler

Crush’s Flushes

This bathroom would be in the Seas Pavilion near Nemo and Friends.

Baymax’s Bowel Movements and Bidets

Not sure where this one could go but we could find somewhere.

Tinkerbell’s Tinkle Time

This bathroom is ONLY for number ones and ONLY open right before Happily Ever After!

Wall-E’s Washroom

This is a cute name and obviously would be in Tomorrowland.

Wandering Oaken’s Outhouses

This is a row of outhouses in the Norway Pavilion.

Cruella’s Crapper

This one is a Halloween overlay that only comes out when they do Cruella’s Hideway during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Thumper’s Thrones

Bambi has no represntation in the park so this film needs something!

Pooh’s Poo Place

This one is in Magic Kingdom near the Winnie the Pooh attraction.

Lightyear’s Latrine

This could be in Tomorrowland OR Toy Story Land!

Lightyear’s Loo

Whichever place we didn’t put Lightyear’s Latrine can get this one.

Peter Pan’s Potty Palace

This is near Peter Pan’s Flight and could be combined with Jessica’s idea.

Gaston’s Gastroinestinal Distress Bathrooms

This is near Gaston’s Tavern and it is ONLY for emergencies!

Oogie Boogies Blowout Bungalow

This can be found in every baby care center and it’s only for when your kid has a blow out.

Donald Duck’s Diarhea Depot

This one will be near the Runaway Railway Ride of course!
